Science is a challenge for many students for a variety of reasons, but our tutors explain the difficult concepts and theories in ways students understand. They know that students learn in different ways – especially when it comes to the sciences-- and they adapt their tutoring styles to the learning needs of each student. This approach has helped many students who were struggling with science understand the subject, improve their grades, and even enjoy their science class.

Our science tutors are true experts in their field and can tutor all science subjects through introductory courses in college. They have two or more years science tutoring and/or teaching experience, and many are graduate students or graduate assistants at UCSD and other local universities. Most importantly, they take their jobs as tutors very seriously and are passionate about helping students understand the subject matter, get good grades in science, and feel confident about their ability in the science subject.
